Not read on here for a long time so it might be here already but just thought i would let you know, i have just been speaking to someone who knows Eddie Howes agent very well and apparently he will be with West Ham by end of January.
Maybe some of your in the know people could verify it or poo poo it?"

Don't think he did brilliantly at Burnley but thought he left as his mother or father were ill and he wanted to move back to Bournemouth
Might even have been a genuine MUTUAL CONSENT

Just a rumour I think.
Would like Howe to manage elsewhere before concluding he is the "real deal". He has been at Bournemouth all his football life and I would like to see how he shapes up at a totally different club before he was at West Ham.
Bilic is seeing the season improve now we have Carroll back. Hard to know how much he was constrained by Sullivan with the transfer business and how many of the picks were his. Tore was a poor one but not sure about the others.
Tactically he tried the 3 at the back after the first 6 games and that "stopped the bleedin" as they say. Some strange selections early on in the season and some poor subs but things are improving so, on balance, I would say stick with him for now and see where we end up in May (hopes we do not plunge into another nose dive). :-)

Fully expect Slav to see out his contract, what happens in the summer is another question, Howe may well be on the Radar………..
And it also wouldn’t surprise me that Slav may not take another contract if offered, don’t think anyone has factored that in, he doesn’t seem to stay long term anywhere and he may feel his job is done seeing us transition from UP to the London stadium, new challenge and all that.

I would be very pissed off if we got rid Bilic and don't think anyone else would have necessarily done any better with the injuries we had, let alone trying to settle into a new stadium.

As much as I agree that this is all fanciful talk without substance, on what basis do you maintain that Eddie Howe is "massively overrated." given the way that he has turned Bournemouth round got them to the EPL and kept them there into this season.
Bloody excellent effort in my book.
